Stories that could take us further
Screen tourism invites people to visit places featured in films and series. A separate opportunity is to present potential locations to production teams. Each activity needs its own verified information and agreements.
For visitors: document identifiable screen locations and possible itineraries only when they exist and have been confirmed.
For productions: gather images of potential locations, access conditions and local contacts.
Proposed next step: verify permits, logistics and community participation before promoting a location or itinerary.

A conversation about travel and wellbeing
Health tourism includes medical care and wellness experiences. In the Mayo Region, this work starts by identifying participants and travelers’ needs; it is not yet a directory of endorsed providers.
Medical tourism: clinical services whose availability and credentials must be checked directly with each provider.
Wellness: experiences focused on rest and personal wellbeing, described without clinical promises.
Proposed next step: coordinate information, lodging, companion support and transportation with participating, credentialed providers.
